It is a beautiful sunny day here in SW Missouri and a temperature of about 47 degrees. I am stuck at work but luckily was able to break out to do some "yard work" and enjoy a quick cohiba black pequeno. That got me thinking...
What is your ideal weather to go outside and enjoy a stick?
Truthfully it was very nice out considering the latest weather but I think mine would have to be in the mid 70's with a very slight breeze.

For me its not so much the temp but when the sun gets behind the trees and it cools just a little. About that time it also seems to get very calm. The smoke seems to just hang above your head. This is more a spring, summer and early fall time of the year. I enjoy sitting outside and listening to the birds make their final chirps and then its dark.

My favorite time of day as well but since I work evenings I never get it. I also neglected to say that my 70 degrees would be at night. I sit out on the back porch looking at all the trees behind our house and listen to the silence and occasional train. Peaceful.

I guess I should also add that I live next to a state park and have had just about every critter you can think of come into the yard. From Whitetail deer to Black Bears, wild turkeys , Ruffed Grouse, Bobwhite Quail, Ringneck Pheasants. You name it and they have passed through. If you sit still you just never know what will show up.

While I love smoking at night in the summer on my back patio, I do like the fall - late September, when it's around 60-65° and no mosquitos. A fire is nice too...

Im not sure why but cigars seem to lose their taste for me if weather is below 60F. I dont smoke much in the winter, mostly small sticks and handout gars because I know otherwise it would be a waste.

I see some guys smoking in the cold and think to myself how little I would enjoy that cigar because they all taste like newspaper, even fuller sticks like 64's and tat browns.

I live on a tiny lake, with only 9 homes around it. My favorite time is a cool summer evening, after the sun goes behind the trees, the lake is like a piece of glass most evenings, sit there with almost any cigar, and watch the geese and ducks, and the deer, and turkeys. Damm I miss summer!

Around 80F when the sun is going down, or 65-70 at night by a fire.

...we don't get many of those days here. When warm enough, its unbearably humid, or the mosquitos are poised to suck you dry, or both. Usually both.

I've been enjoying my winter haven in the garage. Dry, heated to 70ish, no bugs

What side of Lake Erie? I grew up on the south east side. (PA) Did my fair share of fishing there. Nothing like a delicious Walleye fillet and a cold beer!

Fall in Kansas City is great. Sitting on my deck surrounded by a lot of trees turning colors. Sunny with high 70's to low 80's during the day and about the mid 60's to low 70's at night with low humidity. I usually smoke 2 or 3 cigars on a day like these.

Best temperature is above 60 degrees and the best cigar smoking experience is on the aft end of a big cruise ship overlooking the waves while smoking a big Churchill size stogie.... a great drink and sitting on a lounge chair totally at peace. After that is sitting on a Caribbean Beach with a bucket of ice cold beer...white sand and a Quesada Ocktoberfest cigar and topless 20 something girls walking past my hammock....and then my wife sticks her wet forefinger into my ear down to the second knuckle asking me...."so what are you thinking about ole man?"
