I haven't been smoking many Oliva cigars lately but went to an event a couple weeks back and bought some V's. I typically love them, but they seem to have changed. They are much softer and not rolled as well IMO and constantly go out on me due to this. Have any of you experienced this?

Hmm, I haven't noticed any difference, and the last one I ordered through CI was about six months ago. Maybe a bad batch?

I haven't bought any in a while, since I went so deep on them. But mine are all still smoking majestically.

If it's only been a couple weeks, I'm gonna assume they were just really wet for shipment? I'll be interested to see how they develop over the next couple months.

I am thinking it is Sean. Unless they have made a recent announcement. They are available at so many more places now than they were last year at this time.

yeah, and don't get me wrong, they tanked that size for a couple years running, and it WAS a shame (and i bought a couple few just in case...), but my understanding was that, if they weren't fully back, they were back for now, and for a while?

either or, ON point, i haven't had a TON of current V, but haven't yet been disappointed by one.

I had no idea! Good to hear. I don't smoke many Olive V anymore, the stronger ligero just doesn't appeal to me as much as it used to, but the size was the absolute best in the whole line.

'For science', I had a V Torpedo today from a recent box. It wasn't as firmly rolled as I am accustomed to from them, but the burn went well and taste was as good as what I've experienced from them in the past. That is after the initial release, which were super to me.
