Had a great time at pipe club last night and much baccy was smoked. I got to try a bowl of Murray's Era Dunhill Standard Mixture from 2002 (excellent!) and also a blend that had Syrian Latakia (much different than the smoky Cyprian we mostly smoke now). It's amazing how fast three hours go by with great company and good baccy.

This morning I smoked the last bit of Bald Headed Teacher from Dave while I drove into work. I'm going to have to buy some of that.

Some 1792 flake. Had burn issues don't think I rubbed it well enough. Tasty very full smoke though

One of the classiest Sav designs IMO. Flashy without being gaudy. There are still a couple shapes available on the eBay, but I haven't seen a 320 available since Kelvin bought his. Had non-buyers remorse ever since!

HH chestnut with some latakia flake I mixed in to make it tolerable, in Pauls Pipe camo jungle commander. Sitting in the tractor shed at work, between the ice storm and waiting for the snow that'sView attachment 59786 coming I really hate winter.

I think that one is the Desert Commander (old pattern US desert camo color on the stem).

2011 Dunhill flake with thanks in a no name Greek briar while working on reports. Perfect combo of sweet and spicy on this baccy imo although I can't speak for the same blend fresh.

I let it dry a bit too much I think, I'll have to give it another go

Then another with some latakia junction

And it has a ridiculously deep bowl maybe 2 inches but that's just an estimate

Thanks brother! I actually got that one sight unseen from pipes and cigars. They had a 3 for $90 deal and this is my favorite from the bunch, it has a few small blemishes on the exterior but it is nice and thick and smokes like a freight train. I also got a churchwarden in the deal that I've dedicated to aros so it doesn't get much use and also a rusticated pipe with a full bend that has a flaw in the airway drilling that always gurgles no matter what I don't even bother using anymore but that's the risk you take on deals like that. I won't complain since 2 outta 3 are great performers.
