Ok.. its time to start figuring out vittles (cant have a hillbilly herf without lots and lots of vittles to gnaw on)...
If you are among those that have paid for a bunk.. please DO NOT donate toward the food... you have already paid for everyone else to have a place to herf...
Now its everyone elses turn to help pay for you to have something to eat (I think thats only fair)..
If you are among those crashing for free (staying at the cabin, but didnt get a bunk), or among those that are coming to spend time on Saturday only, etc.. this is VOLUNTARY.. if we fall short on money... Ill pick up whatever the remaining costs are and make sure everybody gets plenty of chow.. no one is required to put a penny into this.. if you are short on cash, tight, or whatever.. not a problem.. we're just happy youre coming to hang out... no worries..
How well we eat does depend on donations to the food fund though.... I cant afford to fill 30 peoples bellies 3 times on Saturday, and then cover dinner on Friday and breakfast on Sunday for the all weekend crew with much more than biscuits, hot dogs, and water.. (I am perfectly happy to do this though)...
If we want meats, veggies, etc.. to go on the grill.. and maybe something a little better for breakfast (eggs, toast, bacon, etc..).. I'll need a little help..
The food fund is only to cover perishables, and basic condiments, etc.. (meats, veggies, mustard, mayo, etc..).. stuff that doesnt "travel" well and will need to be bought locally, close to the weekend of the HERF..
Guys are welcome to bring non-perishables to help out as well if you like (soft drinks, salt & pepper, canned veggies, or whatever).. if thats something you can or want to do, please let me know in this thread.. and Ill add it to the list we've been keeping of who is bringing what..
Any amount of donation to the food fund is welcome.. $1, or $10, or $100... doesnt matter.. all I ask is you do what you can (if you can).. and be reasonable..
Once I know how much $$ we have in total, I can start trying to plan meals with our resident chef (dustin).. and we'll have a better idea of what we'll be eating (hot dogs on bread.. or tenderloin and steaks..

Now that all the Canada/U.S. talk is out of the way!I'll donate some cash (if needed) if we are still short Dave. I'm not a big fan of hot dogs and bread all weekend. dave, assume i am coming, as dustinspo and agentskull are (as far as i can tell) carpooling with me. dibs on any spot that will NOT get me stepped on, and doesn't involve spooning rev or eddie (sorry, fellas, jojobear don't share).
i can do a couple industrial rolls of paper towels to help. probably have a few decent sized and portable ash trays as well. and most probably a spare french press too (and someone probably should bring a grinder). and do we have anyone bringing spare trash bags? as for the gimp suit, i have a LOT of duct tape, if we gotta go DIY on it (and a gimp suit IS kinda one of those very special items you really don't share with anyone else...).

Wow so much has been posted in this thread since I vanished a few weeks ago. Can't wait to see you all and if there is anything you need me to bring @mdwest let me know!!! Off the top of my head I can bring bag boards (or cornhole as some of you might call it) and some additional coffee gear (french press, aeropress and stuff)
