Dude, how good is Smallbatchcigar??

I have heard many on BOTL talk about Smallbatchcigar and I've known someone who has ordered from them before with nothing but great things to say. Now with the 20% BOTL code for March I had to check it out for myself. I went to the website and noticed they had a few Viaje cigars. I have never had a Viaje and wanted to try some. But they didn't have a sampler. So I emailed them on a Saturday asking if they could make a sampler with some of the Viaje cigars they had. Within an hour I received a response that said they would see what they could do. And later that night I received another email telling me the sampler I requested had been created! How awesome is that?!?

If you are looking to place an order today consider hitting up Smallbatchcigar. WOW! I'm sold on them. What a great retailer!

Long answer alet! For the short answer skip past this first paragraph.
I've ordered a few times from Small Batch. I noticed a couple cigars in my first order had been, for lack of a better word, "substituted". I emailed just to ask, wasn't upset but wanted to know what was going on since I didn't get any notice. I fully expected to wait a few days then get the standard form email back. Just like you it was only a matter of a couple of hours and I had a reply from Andrew. That blew my mind because I'm fairly positive it was not only after hours, but a weekend. I had a promise for an answer once the shipping crew was in again and he could ask. Well, it turns out it was one of those things that just kind of happened. No biggie, Andrew promised to make up for the error. I let him know that the unprecedented level of communication was more that enough to satisfy any concerns I had. My next order still contained a little "bonus" to help fix the mix up!
Short answer, "How good is Small Batch?" If you answered "Wicked good with a dash of crazy awesome", you are correct!

I've also placed orders from small batch and have been very happy with the experience.
I had previously emailed them and received a response in a short period of time.
As long as they keep this up I will always order from them before any other internet site!

Preacher...choir! :) Trouble with Small Batch is that they ship almost too fast, all the way from the other side of the country. I was expecting my last package to hit a day later than it did. Instead, it was there on the wife's day off. I had some cost justifying to do...:rolleyes:

I'm lucky to have never really been "given the business" from the little lady, at least as far as cigars go. The couple times she questioned how many orders I had made recently, I responded that I'm supporting the global economy and especially the American small business owner, then said I could stop ordering but then "They" would win, you don't want them to win now do you? I think I confused her out of an argument :D
And BTW, "They" are real and they meet bi-monthly to discuss what they will be saying. (Insert tinfoil hat wearing emoji)

Andrew / Small Batch come through again. I emailed them about a brand that was not shown on their site, Paul Garmirian. I almost immediately received a response saying that they have them and would check on what I was looking for and get back to me. I had to go out for awhile, but when I got back an hour or so later, there was a response from Andrew. They had what I was looking for and he had set it up for me to check out. Within 20 minutes, I place an order for a $305 box of cigars and received a 20% discount w/free shipping! That is amazing service! They just moved from my #4 (once and awhile) vendor to my #1 (check them first) vendor.

I should get the box in about 5 days.

Yup, Andrew @MrSmallBatch is a stand up guy.

I met him on the net @ 10-27-2012, 12:33 PM Sorta rode him (politely) about his new site. It's been great since then. Plus I made him make an account here on BOTL back then too. But I don't think it started well cause of sponsor rules lol ;)
