At last weeks pipe club one of the guys brought in a bunch of Malaga pipes he found at a yard sale. Malaga pipes used to be made right here in Royal Oak Michigan but the carver passed in the early 80's and the shop closed up for good sometime in the 90's. The guy that brought them in only wanted to keep one and was letting the rest go for $5 a pop so I picked up four of them. The pics kind of suck as I had to use a flash but here is how they turned out.

That is really cool. I would love to buy a pipe made in the region I grew up in, or even just lived in now. Nice work on the pipes!
