My wife has booked a week away for us with some friends. My dilemma is my travel humidors are either too big or too small for a week away. Soi have concluded I need to buy another one this time around the 25-30 count.

Has anyone stumbled across any deals recently ?

I get the Hurf-a-Dors type things for travel. They have larger one's - but there really is no harm in redundancy. In other words using two.

If you aren't leaving anytime too soon, if you go onto Cigar Auctioneer, I have gotten some really good deals on em there.

Best of luck brother - have a great vacation!

Ive got a 5 count, 10 count, 40 count, and a 50 count laying around..

but I honestly dont know if Ive ever seen a 25 or 30 count.. (or I probably would have grabbed one of those too lol...)...

Im guessing if you removed the foam, you could probably squeeze 20-25 in one of the 15 count boxes from herf-a-dor.. but other than that.. Im not sure there is an off the shelf solution for the number you are looking to take with you.. you might have to go bigger (40 count box).. or maybe convert a piece of tupperware?

My original "traveldor" was a snaplock container that I put fluted foam in (bought the foam from Cigar Solutions).. it held 9x sticks per layer.. and was 3 layers deep... 27 cigars).. I'd send that to you.. but I bombed it out to someone else here a year or more ago (cant remember whom).. when I started carrying the 40 count around with me..

I like their idea of multiple herfadors best, but you can p/u an acrylic air-tite-canister at WalMart for $8 and it'll accommodate that number of sticks...

Here's mine. It's a HERF-a-dor that holds 30 sticks; 24 normal size and 6 Churchill or lanceros. It goes on every trip that requires a plane, as well as most other occasions. 9 times out of 10 it gets on a plane as a carry on.

Another option is to get a hard shell case that's not necessarily designed for cigars. This one is from Ape Case and is only $36 at B&H Photo Video. You might need to purchase an additional foam insert pack but it's kinda cool looking. I'm going on a couple of vacations this year and will need something bigger than a 15-count myself and I'm looking at going this route. Pelican Cases also have some great models

I saw something like this in all silver at Harbor Freight the other day and it had a rotating numeral lock built in!

Looks awesome... Is that a Herf-a-dor brand? What are the dimensions? Did you purchase custom trays for it?

21st of May is when we fly so I've got a good few weeks. My 40 count is one of tre black watch ones I got a while back in their sale. I'm only going for a week but I wanted to take 2 per day for me and 1 a day for a ciggie smoking friend

Here's a 40 count with the foam inserts and pressure relief valve.
You can use one of the layers for lighter, cutter, etc. and still have plenty of room.
$33
If you do have a little time to wait it out, they are always running sales. Get on their mailing list.
Dude, thanks for the heads up!! I'm heading to Vegas for my honemoon the end of the month and was looking for a 15 count model originally but just pulled the trigger on this instead... I plan on hitting up Casa Fuente and having room for extra cigars that are purchased while there just makes more sense! My wallet says screw you all y'all enablers, but I thank you!!
