That's great Griz! I have a flintlock that Mike Miller over in Paducah, Kentucky built me about 10 years ago.. It is a gorgeous piece of work and shoots like a dream.
Mike is a fantastic builder, seen a bunch of his rifles. Bet yours is a nice piece of craftsmanship also. Shame you live so far away, we get together every month for a shoot, we throw hawks, knives, build fir with flint and steel. Keep running score for the year and do a gift exchange at the last shoot in sept. We do at least one 2-day shoot and stay in the woods over nite. It's a bunch of fun.

How many summers have you been here?
Damn, you would ask. Sixty three of them, and drought notwithstanding, if one were to drive through N.Y. State, Penn, Vermont, Mich, etc, there's little comparison with the way people keep their property up, as opposed to the south. No slam on Texas, IMO, its the only and best Republic to live in!

Lost my covered screened in porch when we moved. But I kept my old recliner when I got a new one and have a little set up in my garage now.
Comfy chair and great ashtray; I like the accessory tray. I wonder how many of us smoke pipes as well as cigars?

5 decks on the back of my house....2 on the right hand side and 3 on the left. Front of the house has a long porch from the left side to the garage. Plus a "cigar room" that my wife doesn't want me to smoke in...lifes fair!

That's a pretty swingin' crib you've got there Gary!

(more proof that my word of the day is "swingin")

It only took 40 years to afford it. .plus a condo in San Diego. .I figured with 2 mortgages if I had to go to the hospital for anything they would work harder to keep me alive to keep paying the mortgages.
