Catawbamatt - Not a 'knock' at anybody directly...more of a 'general opinion' on the current state of the union of the premium cigar business.
After having been in this industry for nearly 19 years now, you see a lot, and you see the same 'Snake-Oil-Cure-All' hype and BS ALOT. I guess I just get tired of ppl coming out and proclaiming themselves as the end-all-be-all Master Blender, blah, blah, blah...whatever whatever Amen. When the TRUTH is the only real master blenders, and the real talent that move this business, is at the factory level with the ppl who've literally grown up with tobacco. A lot of newcomers get kinda full of themselves and lose sight--and RESPECT--for where they/WE belong in the food chain. It's close to 20 years for me in this business, and I am STILL learning everyday; I'm not gonna posture and pose and claim that I know anything...I give all credit to the materials (tobacco) and the ppl at the factories that know HOW to use those materials to bring my tiny vision to fruition.
CH 'Snake Oil' is just our way of saying that we're gonna stay transparent--be honest with our customers--and not BS ya. Period.

@JonHuber Please bring a CH show to California Angry Bill, myself and all of us California BOTL need some Snake Oil and we need to let'em know that Crowned Heads is LEGIT!
