I have a similar one. It's sold as a refrigerator fan for RVs. It does a great job of gently circulating the air in my coolidor. The only drawback is that, because it runs constantly, I have to change the two D batteries every few weeks.

You could run that to a timer so might be okay.
I went with the battery version because I was so new to cigars and humidors that I didn't want to dare risk a leak by having a cord coming out of the cooler.

Now, however, I would happily put in a PC fan and wire it so I wouldn't need batteries. BUt a timer is a great idea

I had a few oust fans but gave up on them and just let the beads work.

This one is usb I think and you can run a ribbon power cord into the cooler maybe?

BTW, I took a 2nd look and it does take batts; flexible. I suppose one might use crystals and 80/20 dist/pg to humidify, since the fan would dry out any other medium. And the pg mix would inhibit mold. I just threw it out as a possible answer to someone with a problem.

I agree in most cases, but it does inhibit mold and if using this humidifying little fan, it might help some. I got a quart of pure stuff off Ebay for $11. (y)
