I have been out with a hernia for a few weeks now. Luckily my job allows me enough flexibility that I was able to work from home in a limited capacity. Ive been home since March 2nd, had surgery on March 11th and have been recovering well. Today is two weeks since my surgery and I am now allowed to lift up to 20# BUT more importantly I can get back out in the field and start visiting my stores again (I support 22 stores for a large electronics retailer).
Not that sitting home all day smoking upwards of three sticks a day hasn't been nice BUT the amount of damage that can be done on Smallbatch, Cbid and other sites is amazing when you get real bored and resort to "retail cigar therapy". LOL

Yesterday was not the first day I "ventured out" but it was the fist day I did it as a member of society and didn't wear sweats (Im not a sweats in public kind of guy). I went to my buddy's place and burned a stick with him then headed to my local lounge and had lunch and burned a stick there. It was nice to not feel like an old man (you know those old guys that can't walk upright, not the cool old guys like you, the one that was about to take offense to that comment). LOL

Anyways.. just sharing some thoughts because Im between tasks and needed a break from the other laptop :D

Great news! I know you will be much happier getting back to your work. Take it easy the first couple days and then work out any soreness. Take care brother.
