New Humidor!

I fellow member told me to post pictures of my humidor, so I snapped a couple pics after seasoning. It's a 50 count humidor that I got from Holt's. Nothing too fancy, but seems to get the job done. Going to remove the humidifier soon after the Boveda I ordered arrives. Really excited!

I was just reading another thread where someone mentioned the cheaper humidors have pressed wood that releases VOC(Volatile organic compounds) Vapors. I had no idea about this. How do I know if mine is like that? It is the Holt's Small Bombay Mahagony Humidor for $49.95.

tupperdors (and equivalent) and Bovedas (or other proven 2 way humidification) are the only way to go for small scale budget storage.

Edit: post not directed at op, didn't realize it was a different one than the post by Conan.

To the OP if you have issues with your humidor holding, I did a writeup a while back on getting them to seal up. Planning on doing another but for glass top and without relining. They can be made to work. But rarely do outta the box.
