So I finally got my wineador in from Air-N-Water. A little smaller then I was wanting, but I couldn't wait and when I checked their website they were offering 35% for St. Patrick's day. So I got this little bad boy scratch and dent model for $66!! The dent is on the back right corner. There is a very small dent on the door but it's really not noticeable. Now to get the plastic smell out and start filling this baby up! Lord help my checking account!!ImageUploadedByTapatalk1427323177.345446.jpg

Excellent p/u! When you realize you need a 32btl (BOTL does that to us!) then you can use this'n for your "smoke em today sticks"!
Thank you! I already got it setup in it spot, and have baking soda in there right now. I'll grab some newspaper to stuff in there tomorrow from work and leave there for a few days before I put the heartfelt beads in.

Well I got the heartfelt 65% beads in. They have only been in for about 45 minutes and my hygrometer is reading 70% humidity. The trays where bone dry so I did wipe them down with distilled water. Hopefully the beads will stabilize back down to 65% if not I may have to remove some. There is a pound in there which I figured is to much for that small of a cooler.

Spring strong sweet tall green grass grow...
If you end up with too much humidity, it's not because you have too many beads. It's because you wiped your trays with water. Removing beads won't change that. You need to step back and let the environment stabilize, and that will take longer now that you soaked the wood. Just leave everything be for a week and see where you're at then. If it's high, crack the door for a few hours (or overnight) if it's low, give the beads a spritz or two of distilled water. Patience is your friend.

Well checking on it this morning, the humidity level has dropped down to 63%. The beads are 65% so I'll still let sit for about a week and see where I'm at. Thanks for y'all's input.
