I might have to start doing that. I've only had two or three that I didn't enjoy recently.
I've had nothing but failures lately. One after another. I think my pallet is so tuned to Tatuaje reservas/cojonus & pardon '26 le bijou that anything that's not a Tat Rsrv just falls short (even if I properly set expectations). I think it's hard to find a bold earthy smoke that's as consistent as the Tats. I had hope the Davidoff Nicaragua would blow my mind, nope. Illusione since everyone loves them, nope. Ligas (9/uf13/dirty rat), nice but boring (but I still smoke'm). EP carillo, blech. Ashton, Olivas, crowned heads, casa fernandez, ortega, the list goes on and on. Worst part is, these are all great cigars but just don't fit in with my tastes.
Oh well, I'll just keep stocking up on the Tats. I do however have an OpusX from
@99TRILLS that I'm going to try as soon as this cold passes (and am very excited for).
