Yeah the budget will allow. Check your poopal again. Maybe get some more bacon?! 15lbs should do.We'll have other lunch options for those that dont dine on the swine...
Planning on having burgers.. and if the budget will allow... some chicken titties to throw on the grill in addition to the vienna beef (I however will be going for the chicago dog!)....

airport pick ups and drop offs...
We've got several guys coming in at all hours on Friday.. and then leaving all day on Sunday..
If youre local(ish).. or will have wheels while you are here (driving in, renting a car, whatever..)... let me know either in here, or by PM when youre planning on making it into town.. and if you would be willing to swing by the airport on your way through to potentially pick up one of our air travelers..
if youre flying in, please post your flight details in here.. or send me a PM.. and Ill see what I can do to coordinate a reasonable pick up for you.. as well as make sure we can get you back to the airport on time on Sunday..
Im happy to pick up and drop off everyone I can.. but.. Friday is going to be a busy day.. Ive got to make the grocery run that morning.. grab ice.. pack the truck with all of the HERF supplies (tables, chairs, coolers, etc..).. and need to be at the cabin as early as they will let us check in... which is about an hours drive from the airport.. if I have to do all the picking and dropping.. we might be looking at getting a much later start on Friday than necessary.. and people flying in may have some long waits it the airport between runs (not really all that bad.. there is a sheraton adjacent to the airport with a nice little bar, decent food, a decent lobby area, etc.. that I would recommend people flying in go to, to link up with their pick up.. that way the pick up team doesnt have to pay to park, or search for you.. they can just go to the sheraton, park their car, meet you in the bar/lobby/restaurant, and then you can all be on your way to the HERF once you are ready..)...
As a side note.. this has been posted before.. but after 27 pages, I am pretty sure the information has been lost/missed by some...
Check in is not until 4PM on Friday.. so if youre coming in early (I know many/most are).. give me a call when you get to town (whether by air or land).. Im going to start looking at what time of day most everyone is getting in... and will plan some sort of pre-herf activity or link up location if enough of us are going to be around early (there are some very good restaurants in the area of the cabin.. there is a small B&M in gatlinburg.. or if everyone is going to pass through Knoxville.. there are a couple of really good B&M's in town... and a couple of smoke friendly restaurants downtown (outside seating.. the weather would have to be decent)..

I can help on Friday for sure Dave as I fly in Thursday afternoon. I am heading back to the airport on Sunday at 11:30 for my 2:00 flight, but could go 'a little' earlier if needed.

Sunday morning breakfast should be pretty simple/easy.. Im not thinking we should do a big spread that day.. people will be pulling out at different times all morning, and I am guessing would just like something easy/fast along with a cup of coffee before hitting the road.. still working out the details.. but Im thinking something along the lines of bagels or pre-fab sausage biscuits, etc.. something that takes 5 minutes and you can walk out the door with it...
hopefully that will make clean up easy as well...

We cant check into the cabin until 4PM.. I am going to try to get everyones phone numbers on a list that we can distribute amongst ourselves so we can all call and begin linking up as people arrive in town if guys want to go grab lunch or a smoke before check in, etc..

If anyone is planning on arriving after 4PM.. or would prefer not to link up early.. Just look for the cabin called the "Black Bear Bunkhouse".. that will have a "Hillbilly HERF" banner strung up outside... anytime after 4PM on Friday.. thats where youll find us until Sunday morning..
