Spring strong sweet tall green grass grow...
That's not a concern to me, they're just going in the cooler to hold sticks. It's just a tray, I'd never do that to a humi.
The problem in that logic, though, it's the same reason it can cause warping is also what will cause cracking or splintering. A splinter that you might not notice until one day while running through your stash you end up all pissed off wondering why you have damaged wrappers...

Maybe.... I'll take my chances. I've had this coolidor running 6 years now :)

But I totally get what you're saying. Maybe not recommended for everyone then.
I let the RH climb to 75. It took three days. Started at 50% and the trays sucked up a ton of humidity. Dropped them into the Tupperdor, and RH dropped from 68% to 64%. That's fine. It'll come back up. Thanks for all the great advice. This forum rocks!

I did the same thing recently. I wiped mine down and put them back in the bags they came in until they went into my tupperdor.

Here are some pics, everyone loves pictures! I also filled a cookie sheet with Kitty Litter and put a pair to ballerina tights around it to contain any mess.

No worries, the RH is not in the 40's in the tub, just in my house!!

When it comes to humidification, there is no one I trust more than @sofc. He has helped more than 1000 wayward souls on their path to humidification freedom. He has taken the time to help these guys out even when he was banned and didn't know he was doing it.

If he says to just toss them in and let them go, then toss them in and let them go... They will stabilize.

Brilliant, bro!!! Really nice looking Tupperdor. BOTL.org should have a 'MacGyver of the Week' award. Lol.

I got some there and some from their ebay store which ended up being cheaper at the time. No idea where they are now.
