I just want to shout out to @JonHuber and all that were involved with the Hecho Con Corazon. The blend is perfect; the balance between flavor and strength is phenomenal. Its been a tough choice to decide what my all time favorite cigar has been but as I sit here smoking one of my last, it became very clear. After my first HCC, I was instantly in search of more, which @Clint was my knight in shining armor (dont worry buddy, your end will be out soon! Thank you!) This is also the best burning Box press I've had to date.. After the hundreds of sticks I've had over the last year, this one I will miss the most. If I could find anything wrong with it, it'd be that it's gone! I wish it wasn't such a small LE release because I think everyone should be able to experience this stick, I'm just glad I was able to have the pleasure of smoking it and can't wait to try the newest editions and whatever else Crowned Heads is going to put out in the future. You guys are a force to be reckoned with in the industry and I look forward to seeing your continued success.. You all deserve it.

Absolutely agree, Dave. This was without a doubt one of my most prized smokes this year. Down to my last two at present. Sad to see them go. 100% agree with Crowned Heads and @JonHuber as a force to be reckoned with. Very well done, my friend. Very well done.

Though for a second about trying to smoke the burning embers...

It's somewhat frustrating that so many amazing cigars are so limited. I never got to try this one.

That being said, that's part of the fun, and small batches allow for some uniquely delicious blending.

Wish I didn't read this thread....I'm already a CH disciple and reading how good this cigar is just makes me hungry for a box of em. I'll have this on my Search List for sure....good thing I have boxes of some other CH's to smoke while I hunt.

Wow, this is the first I've heard of this stick and had to google it. I have really enjoyed the couple of Las Calaveras sticks I've had and read this is the same blend but in a box press? For those lucky enough to have tried it, how does the HCC compared with the LC in toro?

I agree with the sentiment about Crowned. Heads. They have quickly become my favorite as I've liked everything I've had from them. I'm working on getting others that I haven't had and while I doubt this one will be possible I'm still looking forward to every other release they'll have.

In September, we reported that Crowned Heads would be releasing its smallest limited edition yet, the Hecho Con Corazon—LE 2014. While the name and backstory are different, the cigar is a 6 x 50 box-pressed toro in the Las Calaveras blend, which was released earlier this year in three vitolas.

The cigar was produced exclusively for the Hickory Cigar Club at its 20th anniversary dinner which took place on Oct. 1, 2014 in Hickory, N.C. Founded in 1994 by Sandy Porter and Dan Stewart, the Hickory Cigar Club boasts over 150 members and has hosted multiple cigar owners and manufactures at dinners over the years. In fact, earlier this year, the Club hosted Rocky Patel, who also created a special cigar for the club’s 20th anniversary.

Like that Las Calaveras, the cigar is covered in a Ecuadorian habano oscuro wrapper and uses Nicaraguan tobacco for both the binder and filler. A red foot band takes the place of the normal Las Calaveras band, and it is sold in boxes of 10 instead of 24. Only 100 boxes of 10 were produced, with the leftovers sold by Tinderbox Cigars South Park of Charlotte, N.C
