I don't like to burn anything too nice when golfing. Oliva O was mentioned earlier and I remember that as a good golf smoke as I have no problem setting it down on the green when I'm putting if not just watered. It also seems like when I leave one behind its something nice too. Need to smoke more and golf more this year.
I'd go golfing with the Dougster

My all time favorite golf sticks are Joya de Nicaragua Fuerte Serie B, or something from La Gloria Cubana (the NC version). Strong full flavor, but nothing complex. Also nothing too spendy so if a partner steps on it, or I forget to keep track of where I set it, or if the wind is causing issues, I don't get upset.
We have a crazy huge variety of courses here, (Not in number, but they vary from bare bones basic to obnoxious luxury) so it really depends how many I can enjoy per round/hole. Love Red Rocks, I could possibly put down 5-6 sticks in a full 18 holes... maybe that says too much about my questionable golf game.
My other favorite golf sticks are my Wilson graphite shafts ;)

I usually just smoke as I'm playing so I don't throw it on the ground or set it down for me to lose track.

Anything in the wineador is fair game.
Typically longer sticks since time is not a problem.
Better sticks on tourney days, lesser smokes for league and 9 hole rounds.
Definitely agree with picking longer smoking sticks!
Also, based on some of your posts, I'd love to have the chance to spend a round or two in your company. Just be warned, I have wicked bad adult scoliosis and blame every single bad stroke on it

This will be my first year with more expensive (at least to me) cigars at my disposal. Not sure what I will smoke but am just looking forward to the chance to do so.
Also just got a cigar caddy clip so hopefully I will not be laying them down on the grass this year.

I prefer thicker wrapper smokes so it doesn't get beat up. Larger ring gauge, nothing smaller than a 46, so it doesn't need constant relights if I'm not paying attention to it. Also a sub $10 smoke so if I lose it, I won't be pissed. I really need to get a cigar clip for the cart. Right now I just wedge it on the rubber window hinges on the cart. Maybe a Xikar Can but I haven't checked to see if it fits in the cup holder...

OH and you got a can and a clip coming your way :) Just need to find your address. Unless you want to make my life easy and if you do, I won't send anything else. :)

i usually take some inexpensive smokes. This year, I've been taking two Gran Habano vintage 2002's for each round. Cheap, and pretty tasty with a little age. Those and about 8 Miller Lites, my buddy calls it swing lube. Lol
