Tossing up :

Bolivar coronas jnr
Hupman 1/2 cor
Ryj short church
Monte petit 2 or petit Ed

I've smoked the boli 2 , monte 2 and monte 2 petit, ryj short before and enjoyed the boli and the ryj immensely.

I don't have the resource to get singles of the hupmann to try 1st .... Which is making my box choice even more difficult !!!

Interesting to see people's opinions on these 4 cigars are before I pull the trigger !

Cheers lads ;)

You might want to base your decision based on smoking time. The RyJ Short Churchills are about an hour smoke for me, the HUHCs take about 25--30 minutes. That being said, I was able to buy the HUHCs in tins of five (bought two) for about $30 each, which I thought would be a good way to try them.

All depends on your taste preference. For me:
BCJ - best bolivar in production
HUHC - good for grilling and short on time.
RyJ SC - I'll preface by saying I keep 15 boxes of RyJ in my stock at all times. I wouldn't even smoke a gifted short churchill
MP2 - I don't buy Monte due to inconsistency, have had a MP2. The one I had was no good, but doesn't mean other would be the same.

Looks like it's down to 2 : huhc and bcj although a glowing endorsement by surprisemvp on the ryj has thrown a spanner in the works as I enjoyed them too maybe a tad long for my time restraints though ...... Mojo what's the go with hosting box splits have u more info on this for me man ? I'll happily look into this also

Cheers fellas

Is the Churchill your favorite R&J Mike? And is the Short Churchill that much different than the Churchill? The only experience I have with R&J is the Belicosos (2 boxes) and my tastes have changed in the last 18 months. I don't much care for the Belicosos any more. If I was to have another go at the R&J lineup what would you recommend?

I vote for bcjs or huhcs. But you can always host box splits so you can try them out before committing to full boxes
My vote also and I wouldn't even blink at missing out on the others because these are far better cigars.
