That's right!!!! And here's the friendly reminder....Dude, it's difficult to say who of us will be in more pain this week. I'm about to be mauled to death by a clan of pi$$ed-off bears; you're about to be stuck with a needle several million times. Nobody wins.

I guess pain is different for everyone. I barely felt the armpit. Same with elbow and ditch, no problems. Worst for me was the inner part of my forearm, just above where you can see the tendons going to the wrists.

I've got over forty hours in my back, including two 10+ hour sessions. I think eventually you begin to wonder if they're just grinding hamburger back there!

Session 3 is done. Pain was bearable because he used some thick needles for the shading and clouds. We only hit the bottom area today, but some color, FINALLY. I had some fresh pimples to deal with, ugh, but it's such a large area that we can work around them. I have an appt next month around the same time and then June 30th. After that, I'll be taking a break for the summer. Today was 2 hour and 15 minutes for $200. Man they weren't kidding when they say back pieces are 20 hrs and well over $1000.
Total so far: 7hours and 15 minutes. $550.

A likely story! I did some back work about 24 years ago I am in awe of your pain tolerance, it felt like they were grinding my shoulder blades down . Now my elbow that brought me near tears .And no, I don't sag my jeans like a gangsta

Thankfully my guy only usually does 3-4 hour sessions. Since this a marathon tattoo, I don't mind
That is really going to be something you can be proud of.
My worst was either my foot or my ass. The sternum wasn't fun, but I'd rather have bone over meat. My ass just did not feel like any other tattoo I've ever gotten. My elbow was fine and my ribs was just 5.5 hours so by the end I was just done.

I heard on ink master that the ass is one of the worst spots.
8.5 hrs is nuts. Today was ok, but he only does so much, and I was getting bored. I was surprised that my shin didn't bother me, but everyone is different. That initial outline was grueling on my back.
