Did a test run with the pikliz this afternoon...

Its the perfect balance (IMO) between "Oh sh*t! what have I done to myself!?!?!?!??!" and "wow! what awesome vinegary, savory, salty, flavors!" :D

Im gonna have a burning ring of fire tomorrow.. but it is soooooooo worth it! :D

Just checked the 10 day forecast... not sure how accurate it is.. but according to weather underground its looking like its going to rain most of Friday and Friday night..

shouldnt matter too much.. we have plenty of covered patios at the cabin to smoke under.. and plenty of space inside for the weekend crowd to spread out.. and plenty of inside entertainment available (card table, pool table, video games, tvs, juke box, etc..)..

the good news is the forecast for Saturday is sunny.. with a high of 71.. and a low of 50 (couldnt ask for a more beautiful day or better weather)...

assuming the forecast is accurate we should have a great HERF!

Dave I still remember the first Herf. 7 people sitting on your patio swapping stories and smoking cigars while enjoying Daves grilled creations. I met Dave of course Adam, Rupe, Tom and Curtis. I had been on BOTL for 1 month and knew I was gonna like the BOTL community. Then round #2 the 'REDNECK RENDEZVOUS' which was twice the size of the first herf. Met quite a few more brothers there. Had such a great time swapping more stories and smoking cigars anything and everything a great herf could need was there. On the way home we all agreed we were ready for next years and couldnt wait to see who would show up for it. Now year 3 is upon us and I see 35+ have commited to the Herf and am blown away at the guest list for this years chaos. So with that said all of you guys who haven't been to a Redneck Herf yet I hope you are ready for a damn good time!!! Peace.....rev.b 'Bryan'

Lol.. I still laugh every time I hear the word "ankle".. and every time I see Adam the very first thing that pops into my head is "Awwwwfuuuuuu" :)

Im pretty much going to be off the net from this afternoon until late afternoon on Sunday (headed over to Nashville for the NRA convention.. we rednecks like guns.. :) )... if anyone needs anything related to the herf, either shoot me a text, or give me a call... or.. I can just find posts here or PM's if you can wait until Monday..
