My new herf shack!

Check it out. I went and got 100ft roll of 6 mil plastic tarp and have enclosed our screened porch in it.

I will break it in tonight and see how much warmer the patio heater will make it compared to the outside.

At the very least it will help stop the never ending wind here in "Neraska, the good life".

It's not pretty but it will work.

Might paint the wood strips white eventually.

youd be surprised how much warmer it will be. ill bet at least 15 degrees and maybe more depending how drafty it is.
when my dad and i go ice fishing, we have a small shelter that is basically just framework covered by a black canvas tarp. the only source of heat is from a Coleman lantern and usually after a couple of hours we have our jackets off and are sitting in t-shirts.
