If anyone has any cigar both CC and NC let me know.
I also have cigars, both CC and NC. lol.

Welcome to BOTL, my man! Don't worry about trying to catch any of these guys. It's like trying to keep up with the Joneses, someone else will always be way ahead of ya. Just relax and enjoy at your own pace! That's a decent little collection you got there.

@StogieNinja I corrected the post, talking to my and and trying to post.....lol
I talk to my all the time, too. :snicker:

lol as far as suggestions, that's gonna depend on what you like right now. What have you smoked and what have you enjoyed? What have you hated? It's all about your palate. Just like some people like Coke and ... well, no one really likes Pepsi. Bad example.

Some people like scotch, some people like bourbon, some like both. Some like peaty, smoky scotch, some like smooth and sweet scotch. Some like both.

Let us know what you've smoked that wowed you, and what you disliked, and the reasons, and we can make you some good recommendations.

Cheers!

Welcome. Looks like you have some fine cigars.

I suggest you just buy and smoke a wide variety of cigars. Lots of brands and sizes to explore. Do you have a cigar shop or three in your area? If so, introduce yourself to the owner, manager or knowledgeable employee and ask for recommendations. Keep track of what you smoke and what you like or dislike about them.

Over time your palette will change and develop so stay away from box purchases until your preference has stabilized and you find something that gives you an erection for more than 4 hours. Actually, many don't ever buy boxes and just buy 5's and 10's of their favorites. Having a variety is one of the most enjoyable aspects in this hobby IMO.

Spend some time reading the "what are you smoking" thread and ask questions. Everyone here will be happy to help.

Welcome to the brother hood. And as far as recommendations I would say that old smokey and stogie ninja nailed it.
Everything in this hobby is subjective. You may like RPs or gurkhas while most of the guys here will steer you away. You may like infused and again most guys here will steer you away.
When I stared I liked infused but I was pretty new. Now I find them kind of chemicaly and bitter. Tastes will change. So as I have been told ......

Sit back and enjoy the slide!

You can't go wrong with My Father Cigars, Tatuaje, Crowned Heads, PDR, Fuente, Padron, L'Atelier, Ashton. As far as Habanos: Bolivar Royal Coronas, Petite Coronas, Coronas Juniors; Ramon Allones Specially Selected; Partagas Serie D No. 4; Montecristo No. 2, Edmundos. Good luck, man.

I forgot to add Oliva Serie V and Melanio

Welcome aboard and thanks for your service!

I want to highlight what @Old Smokey said: don't buy boxes for at least the first year. I didn't listen to this advice and it was expensive. Your tastes will change, your likes and dislikes will change and your idea of a "good deal" will change. Stick to 5 packs for now, buy a couple 5ers if you find something you really like, but avoid 25ct boxes. 25 of a cigar is a lot when you're still trying to figure out what you like.

Also, don't worry about "catching up" to anything. We all have different income levels, different addiction levels, and different things we get out of smoking cigars. Have fun with it. If cigars add stress to your life, you're doing it wrong!

D/FW. Mesquite to be specific.
Welcome and good start! I've been smoking for probably a little over 2 years and still usually buy singles of things I've never tried. I do have some go - to smokes on days I can't decide though, maybe try these out

Oliva v lancero or petite corona
Fuente rosado, short story, or 858 maddy/sungrown
Illusione rothschilde
Tatuaje pcr, havana vi

Pretty good beginner smokes and none run over 7 bucks (TX prices)

Looking really good brother! It is a slippery slope indeed, be careful. I can't say enough good things about the Illusione Rothchildes, great bang for buck stick. Also check out Tatuaje, there's lots to choose from, I love the Tatuaje Black. But really anything from Tatuaje is amazing. The Undercrown by Drew Estate is another great cigar too. As far as CCs go, the Hupmann Half Corona is to die for, and so is the Partagas Serie D no 4.

Surprised other than @Tom1974 no one mentioned any Drew Estate cigars. they're a little pricey (at least here in NY) but worth their $$. I love the Liga Privada #9's when my wallet allows. Undercrowns are amazing as I had my first one the other day with a nice glass of Buffalo Trace bourbon.

As others said, sample and don't jump on boxes yet. Sample every cigar you can under the sun. It'll usually help narrow down the body profile for you- mild, mild-medium, medium-full, full bodied etc. You could probably go from there and once you find the body cigar you like we could help narrow down suggestions. But again, it's your palate and we're all different with the way cigar profiles are as well.
