On the one hand, they're only 40 cents each!
On the other hand, I pretty much know they're all going to be shit.
On the other hand (yes, I grow extra hands in situations like this), I'll save money with combined postage!
On the other hand, why the hell would I want 10 dog rockets?
On the other hand, maybe I'll be surprised and find a hidden gem!
On the other hand I already have storage issues.
On the other hand, averaged in with the other auctions I won it brings down my overall cost per-stick, giving me the illusion that I'm getting an even better bargain, and making me feel less guilty about buying so many cigars.
On the other hand, I can always bomb them to @luckysaturn13

.....SOLD!

And by now I'm an octopus. I'll post the contents when it arrives.

:ROFLMAO::ROFLMAO::ROFLMAO: I like your logic, especially bringing down the price per cigar of your total purchase. Smart investing I say.
When I was selling investments we referred to this as Dollar Cost Averaging, it's a sound economic principle!! Lol, I only used CBid once and saw how dangerous it would be for me to continue and haven't logged back in since knowing how easy it is to talk myself into buying things that are a "deal"

If all else fails donate them to the troops then you bring your price per cigar down plus you did a good deed

I stopped doing auctions. I found myself starting a bid because the price was too good to pass up then raising my bid was past the good value point because I am competitive by nature. I now just buy bulk at one of the online sites (don't k ow what the etiquette is on among names) that offers big savings when your purchase has a coup of zeros in it. (ie: free shipping x % off or a free box of x). Those free boxes tend to be my handout smokes.

Or give them out to non-cigar guys at your next BBQ. Mild, cheap Dominicans are a good way to start a guy in the world of cigars - they're not overpowering to the noob smoker, and where BOTLs and other experienced smokers will find them underwhelming, guys who don't smoke often find them pretty tasty. And if they take a few puffs and pitch it, nothing is really wasted.

Oh....my....god.... That's far worse than I would have expected! @DogRockets, are you speaking from experience? If so, is that pretty much the same selection you got? Bikers Butt, mmmmmm.

I actually managed to stay away from cbid for over a year, but wanted to try a couple of things they had cheap, and I won, and one thing led to another, and I'm now about $100 poorer.... Still, this lot was the only dumb one at least.

Unless it's something you would smoke yourself and enjoy don't do this. Wether you agree with the wars we fight or not, I often don't, these men and women risk their lives. Let's at least give them something they can really enjoy.
