So the weather was nice out at lunch today, so I took the opportunity to smoke one of the dog rockets I pulled from the rocket pass box, that should be getting very close to Cincinnati I hope. The El Reloj El Ocho. I'm not even going to break this one into thirds, but give you a summary. The wrapper was shot. Trashed. Garbage. So what's a guy to do? Smoke it anyway! I figure if some of you can smoke them even after pulling the beetle end trails out (you know who you are), I figure I can smoke a peeling wrapper.
This cigar burned well, and had very solid smoke output. It tasted like.... absolutely nothing. There was no flavor of any kind to be found in this rocket. I mean, NADA. I spent a good hour nursing this, and chucked it at about the 1.5" mark. A yard gar, maybe? But life's too short for something this bland. Move along, there's nothing to see here.
