I'm a huge fan of the Cohiba Siglo II. And it's not for the Cohiba name at all. I just like the taste of it. I love the Siglo II's but with they had a bit more kick to them. Anyone know of a cigar that has the same taste and flavor but has a little stronger nicotine kick?

If you're looking for more nicotine ( can't imagine why as nicotine doesn't add to the taste of cigars...it's just the byproduct of the tobacco ) try cigars that are full bodied/strength.

It's not to add to the taste, I'm just looking for more of a kick to it. I tried the Siglo VI and it was too much cigar for my liking. It took me a long time to finish it.

I like the Siglo II's because I just find them the perfect size. Not too big, not too small. Doesn't take too long to smoke. One thing I hate doing is having to turn off a cigar and re-light it later. If I finish one, I can just pull out another cigar.

So I stopped by my local B&M and picked up a few sticks.
Ramon Allones Superiores
Cohiba Coronas Especiales
and as a backup, Siglo II.

Smoked the Superiores last night and it was pretty good. My kinda taste. Pretty different in flavor profile from Siglos. More woody but good. It has a woody and very nutty, slightly dry smoke. And the draw was perfect.

It was exciting in a way for me to actually taste different flavors like that because I normally am not able to distinguish different flavors from smoke. Maybe my palette isn't developed enough. I've only been smoking for 2-3 years. Prior to that I only had a cigar every 6 months.

Slow and steady progress :)
