Moose hunting?I earn a living by driving a truck in the south Saskatchewan oilfields, which I enjoy very much. Its is mostly gravel grid roads and fairly remote areas, so to me its quite peaceful most of the time. Im married, with three step children & 6 grandchildren. Used to do alot of stuff (woodworking, sawmilling, guns, hiking) but in moving to Saskatchewan, most of my activities were left behind in GA, so Im still waiting for my next hobby interest to make itself known...
A pic of my "office" lit up at dusk...
The government has "lotteries" for hunters here (big game) , so a couple friends & i are going to enter our names in the draw for mule deer next week. Being drawn to hunt moose is almost like winning the actual lottery lol, slim chanceMoose hunting?
Sounds like growing and fermenting your own tobacco along with rolling your own sticks would be right up your alley! Thank you for your service, my family and I greatly appreciate the sacrifices you make so we can enjoy the freedoms we do. You're my kinda guy43, military is my game for 22 years and counting. However close retirement is lurking, I can't say. Have been stationed all around the US and spent an extensive amount of time overseas. Father and husband. Fishing, hunting, skiing, mountain biking, hiking. Outdoor activities...don't like being cooped up inside. Just starting to dabble in pairing cigars and scotch. Strictly the good scotch! I do enjoy drinking beer while smoking cigars too. I am conscious of the environment and have goals of living a self sustainable life style once I retire. Goats, chickens and a few other edible barn yard animals along with a garden/greenhouse.
My wife told me I should try my hand at growing some but I have my reservations. LOTS of overtime involved!Sounds like growing and fermenting your own tobacco along with rolling your own sticks would be right up your alley!
