Thoughts on the blend?
I really enjoyed it, but I've only had one bowl. I found the tin note to be quite pleasing as it reminded me of living in the Pacific Northwest - almost smelled hints of cedar. Not quite but there was something there that really took me back home.

It smoked well but I didn't let it dry out enough and fond myself having to run a pipe cleaner down the stem halfway through to get rid of a small gurgle that was developing. It was mild in terms of vitamin-N and didn't produce large volumes of smoke but the flavors were strong and constantly present.

I've not checked P&C yet but I assume/hope it will be available in bulk. And, if so, I'll be ordering several ounces of it. It will definitely be in my regular rotation. With Father's Day coming up, I'll have to figure out how to "suggest" half a pound of this to my wife.

SPC just seems to do it right imo. Was secretly hoping this one would be a bit of a dud to ease the pain of not having room in the budget for new blends at the moment. Lol. Father's Day hints are a great idea though!!

"Hey hon! Did you know that the recommended serving of meat is? A half pound? Ha! That's interesting ... Hey did you know the most economical way to order tobacco is by the half pound lol? Yup it would seem that eating and buying by the half pound is king. I always wanted to buy a half pound of tobacco, but wanted to know what I liked first. Hmmmm, I know what I like now - you know we should save some money buying by the half pound. I think I need to make my first half pound purchase! Just having a hard time justifying a half pound. But hey, father's day is just around the corner. Maybe we can treat me to a half pound if I lose a half pound. You want to support the half pound cause hon? Hon? HON? HALF POUND HON!!"

"You hear me hon ... half pound."

Grabbed the Sav, some Old Joe Krantz, and went for a walk with the family.

Was really looking forward to a relaxing walk, but that wasn't to be lol. The dog was spooked, the kids had to go potty and my wife lost her sense of humor over it all lol! That said, I saw my first Blue Heron nest on the walk. That was pretty cool. I got to tell you, baby Herons are freaking huge lol.

Tobacco related note - As I looked to the highest branch on the tree at the Heron's, I noted that I find Burley to be a really sweet tobacco. Each blend of it I have always leaves me with a sweet aftertaste. I mixed some the other day with some 3P's. That was a nice little mix.
