I really enjoyed it, but I've only had one bowl. I found the tin note to be quite pleasing as it reminded me of living in the Pacific Northwest - almost smelled hints of cedar. Not quite but there was something there that really took me back home.Thoughts on the blend?
SPC just seems to do it right imo. Was secretly hoping this one would be a bit of a dud to ease the pain of not having room in the budget for new blends at the moment. Lol. Father's Day hints are a great idea though!!I really enjoyed it, but I've only had one bowl. It smoked well but I didn't let it dry out enough and fond myself having to run a pipe cleaner down the stem halfway through to get rid of a small gurgle that was developing. It was mild in terms of vitamin-N and didn't produce large volumes of smoke but the flavors were strong and constantly present.
I've not checked P&C yet but I assume/hope it will be available in bulk. And, if so, I'll be ordering several ounces of it. It will definitely be in my regular rotation. With Father's Day coming up, I'll have to figure out how to "suggest" half a pound of this to my wife.
"Hey hon! Did you know that the recommended serving of meat is? A half pound? Ha! That's interesting ... Hey did you know the most economical way to order tobacco is by the half pound lol? Yup it would seem that eating and buying by the half pound is king. I always wanted to buy a half pound of tobacco, but wanted to know what I liked first. Hmmmm, I know what I like now - you know we should save some money buying by the half pound. I think I need to make my first half pound purchase! Just having a hard time justifying a half pound. But hey, father's day is just around the corner. Maybe we can treat me to a half pound if I lose a half pound. You want to support the half pound cause hon? Hon? HON? HALF POUND HON!!"With Father's Day coming up, I'll have to figure out how to "suggest" half a pound of this to my wife.
Waddya think?Going to bust in to this tin. The other three went in the cellar.
Glad you liked them. I hope you found some stuff in there you want to add to your cellar.Peter Stokkebye Luxury Bullseye Flake in a mini meer. This is number six of the tobaccos @JustTroItIn sent me on the MAW. They are all excellent choices. Thanks again, Jack.
