I'm using some Google-Fu at the moment but I figure I'll ask anyway. Best place to buy 1/4" & 1/2" Spanish cedar planks about 4 or 5" wide?
Cut them up from boxes you purchase. Or use those boxes as coffins. Also you can order shelves from Forrest and I believe theirs another golly making them.

I couldn't possibly have someone else do the work. My dad taught me carpentry growing up, so I love doing these kinds of projects.

Now where did I put those router bits...

Try a store called "woodcraft"... They sell Spanish cedar online.. And also have retail stores all over the country... That's where I got the SC to line my cabinet with..

It's a little pricy by the board foot.. But shouldn't set you back too much to make shelves for the wineador...

Fun project!

That picture shows us that you need help filling it up. Bus driver anyone!?
Woah, easy there. I think I was commenting when you posted this and must have missed it. Either way, I'm just a new guy here and I couldn't possibly return the favor if you guys were to destroy my mailbox. As it is I already had to eliminate my 2 a day Monster drink habit to support this transition. It's strange how much more relaxed I am.

Nice set up, I found that the large boveda packages work well with the smaller wineadors!
I've already got 3 of the large 65 Boveda's moistening up the few cigar boxes I threw in there and a bowl of baking soda to pick out that aroma du plastic.

I'm debating on putting the cigars in tomorrow and just sealing them in ziplocks until all the odor clears out. (I'm in El Paso, I've been having trouble keeping my sticks any lower than 77 degrees during the day.

I am of the school of thoughts that do the odor removal; then seasoning; then adding cigars.

Not sure you want cedar and soda at the same time; and certain you don't want to rush your sticks in yet.
Valid point. They've been okay the past two weeks at 75 give or take, two or three more days will be okay. I might just throw a small ice pack in my current humidor to help.

Mine's similar. An 18-tall. ( 2wide x9 hi bottle spec ) Have you considered putting it on a little cabinet? Gets it off the floor, which you will find easier to view and selecting your treasure. Less Dust, ( or easier to manage, anyway ) The cabinet can store eccentrics, makes more room in the wineador.
but you probably already know this......
