I think my love affair with Caldwell has come to a screeching halt.

A couple of months ago they hype a bunch of "lost and found" cigars that are nothing but overpriced overruns. Apparently they felt this strategy was successful because now they are charging $90 for a fiver of their latest release? Really?

There are better ways to spend your money than that cigar. I had one and wasn't impressed.

Rupe I think there's little love lost in the industry for Caldwell. I really do like the TKID and Eastern. I'd like them better at $10. But I have yet to smoke something from them that justifies a $15+ price point. You're edging into high end Fuente and Padron territory, and the quality is not there yet.

I wasn't able to find them at CI or Famous but everything else that I saw listed the MSRP at $180 for a box of 10 ($18 per stick)

Tower had them listed at $162 (on sale) but that is still $16.20 per stick. Too rich for my blood but they are shown as "sold out" on their website so I guess there are people out there that are willing to pay it.

Yep I rechecked a few blogs and a 10ct box @180ish is insane!!!!

With the 10-20% coupon at smallbatch, the LLTK is right on target I think. Anything over about $8/stick is overpriced IMHO.
