Hello!

I'm very new to cigars and just dived into the hobby last week. I've smoked a few with my dad in the past, but never developed any sort of a palate, so I will be trying to learn what types I enjoy this summer. I picked up a few this week at my B&M: 1 Perdomo 23 robusto, 1 Oliva Serie G maduro, 1 Ghurka Legend Toro, and 1 Carrillo La Historia. I've smoked the Perdomo and the Oliva and couldn't distinguish much difference (sadly), but I enjoyed the Perdomo more for reasons I hope to learn later. My dad gave me a 30 year old humidor and I've gotten it sealed and seasoned -- its just waiting for some more cigars to mingle with my 65 Heartfelts. =)

Awesome! It's nice to meet another brother from VA. Welcome to the brotherhood. You should head over the the newbie buy/trade thread and take advantage of it before spending all your cash at the B&M. BTW, I'm out in SWVA from time to time for work if you want to catch up sometime and burn a stick or two.

Correction on the Gurkha.. its a Royal Challenge and I am very much enjoying it right now! =)
