Greetings to my BOTL:

I've been on the board a few months now, but just noticed this thread.

I own a Registered Investment Advisory firm which I founded just over one year ago, after spending 25 years doing the work for other large corporations. It's been a great journey so far, as we got off to a good start. We still have much work to do until I get to the point where I feel that we really accomplished something very good and I can take a half day off!

Most of the credit goes to my great wife of 24 years; without her support this venture never would have taken place. The rest of the credit, and thanks, goes to the many clients that have followed me over the years.

I'm lucky, humbled, and grateful.

Hmmm, I guess I never got around to adding to this thread.

I'm a mechanical designer. I design moisture separators for the nuke industry and naval ships primarily.

Outside of that, I go 4 wheeling with my jeep buds when time and funds permit. I build custom roll cages and the occasional rock crawler for my friends.

I'm 22, recently married and in my first year of pharmacy school. I only get a few cigars a month normally, but with the holidays coming up I'll get to have quite a bit more than normal. I should be studying for an exam right now, but I'm doing this instead.

I don't really have time to do recreational things right now on account of 22 semester hours, but I either smoke or play friend's video games in spare time

that is, when I'm not spending time with my wife. I also spend a ridiculous amount of time on cigars forums and drooling over cigars I can't afford.

I love sports, college football the most (Hook 'Em Horns!) but hockey and soccer too (and CBB when march madness rolls around).

I'm a Master Electrician and I estimate for a medium sized contractor specializing in healthcare. Since they hired me on, I'm steering my focus back toward industrial work, with some commercial and retail. I'm the third generation in construction work in my family, I grew up around it and have held all kinds of different positions over the years.

I've only been with this company for about a year, I work silly long hours, and always look forward to meeting up with my buddies on Friday nights for cigars and BS. (Hi Frank, Sheep and any of the others :D)

Outside of work, I love my family (even though we make each other nuts sometimes; a wife, daughter, dog and cat), wheelin, hunting/shooting, mountain biking, and as awful as I am, for some reason I enjoy golf. I read a lot; books, magazines, technical manuals and trade literature.

Well....
I'm 32, I have a 7 yr old little girl I raise on my own, have two dogs; a Lab puppy and a pitt/lab mix adult. I am a field engineer for a wireless providor, have been with the current company for 5 years. I've been in the industry since I got out of the Navy in 98, and for the most part like my job. I was an electronics technician on a submarine, did electronic survielance and worked on that equipment as well as anything having to do with RF.
For my hobbies.... I have a jeep that is always in some stage of upgrade, mostly because I can't leave well enough alone. I also have a modest collection of guns, which I know my limits on; don't let me play with someone elses guns unless we are in a big field or in a garage. :D Right Frank?

I don't have a lot of extra time for hobbies with the kid and dogs, I mostly just smoke the cigars now. I used to smoke pipes, and still do every once in a while. I smoked cigarettes from the age of about 13 till I was 27, glad I kicked it.

Ok deep breath,

I'm 26 and live in Hampton, Va born in the Tampa, Fl area. Been here for two years and bought our first home in Feb. My wife (Aspen) and I are both Active Duty Air Force. Ive been in eight years now, my first 6 I was a MC-130H Talon II Crew Chief stationed at Hurlburt Field, Fl. I got to travel to just about every country in South America then. After I realized that I like working in AC/Heat I cross-trained into Computer Systems Administration. Been it this field for 2 years, like the job but miss the kind of guys I worked with on the Flightline. Everyone I work with now never go out, have BBQ's, or throw keggers:wtf: !!

Other than Cigars I play golf, trying new beers, big on movies, First Person Shooters, and try to run:hysterica.

Thanks for the time and teaching me so much guys......Ben

I work for a major diabetes supply Company during my money making time. I have started my own business and once the website is done will post more...
On my off time, I am into smoking cigars, chatting on this cigar forum now, into computers, surfin' the 'net for freebies, coffee and cats.

Since I left Cali. in 2000, I met up with my fiancee (yes we met on the 'net and chatted for 1 1/2 years before I left Cali.) in MO. then we moved to WPB, FL then her company moved us to NJ, we escaped there to Roanoke, VA and then found our own place in Salem, VA where w currently are living in a house on the Roanoke River, with no nearby neighbors except for 1, we share this house with 3 cats.

We have began talking about checking out Alburquerque, NM in the next year or two if we haven't gotten our business off the ground, by that time.
