Depends on why he doesn't drink
That's a pretty good point... Not my place to talk about his decision/situation, but he did just tell me he likes NA beers and is psyched that I found St. Pauli NA, as he hasn't tried it yet. (y)

I'm almost tempted to try one just to see what it tastes like, but it's Saturday and I'm not driving anywhere, so Kraftig Light it is!

For the last two weeks there has been this big bee hanging around our back porch. The kind that like to bore a hole in the lumber as a nest. But the porch is aluminum, and we have vinyl siding and I thought he would give up. But sure enough he'd show up when the wife and I are out there. Diligently looking for a place to bore. It's the same bee, it's huge. First time he buzzed by my head, I thought it was a damn humming bird.

Today I was helping the wife with some yard work. She picks up a bucket off the porch. Behind it is this big dead bug.

Wife: Honey , Look ! It's the bee ! He's dead.
Me: Well, that's that.
Wife: That's right ! We didn't see him at all this weekend ! .... I wonder what happened to him ?
Me : Probably died of bore-dom

Wife swung the pail at me, but I blocked it.

Had a crappy afternoon and just needed to vent. Figured this was a good place.

My 6 year old son helps me raise bottle calves. Loosing a calf occasionally is part of the gig, but tonight my son was with me as one died.

Just a rough experience watching a child learn about things the hard way. Not that I would want to shelter him from such things, just the whole thing was shitty.

Vent over. Carry on.
