Tonight I will be considering my fallen brothers in arms, but as today is also my departed father's birthday I will also be celebrating his memory with the same first cigar he ever gave me.

May I offer a toast to our fallen comrades. May your sacrifice never be forgotten and your memory never fade. Our legacies are often only remembered through our children, sadly, many of these men and women who gave their lives didn't have any. Therefore, it's up to us veterans, survivors, citizens and brothers to give them thanks and to respect their memories. Semper Fidelis.

While we should thank our vets and current servicemen and women everyday, it's appropriate today to pause and reflect on those no longer with us. So a special thanks to those who have all and to the Gold Star Families in whose hearts and memories those lost, live on.

Enjoy the day off, the sun, the cookouts and time with your friends and family. But please don't forget why we have this holiday.

It was stronger than I thought it was gonna be. Actually seemed stronger than the scraps it's made from which I thought was weird.

I liked it at first but the predominant flavor got overwhelming to me. Not sure how to describe it other than minerally?

IMHO absolutely worth it, I really enjoyed it. Not sure if I tricked myself into thinking so b/c of the name/label color but it had some citrusy notes. I have another couple in the humi, if they're as enjoyable as this first one I'm gonna try and organize a box split
