Besides cigars, my main interest or hobby is self defense. Most of my training revolves around knives and impact weapons. These are pics of an excellent self defense keychain. It has 3 points, one on top, one on bottom, and one that will stick out between your index and middle finger when gripping it. The points are known as force multipliers. wherever that point hits, it will feel like you got hit 10 times as hard. Aim for bones. If you punch somebody, then the point that sticks out between you fingers will hit the target. If you use it in a "Hammer Punch" technique, then the lower point will hit the target. If an attacker should get you to the ground, then just push the keychain points into ribs, jaw, temple, eye, basically any boney or sensitive area. If someone grabs you from behind, jab this thing into his hand, and move it around like you are grinding his bones. The pain this thing causes is AMAZING. I have my whole family outfitted with these.

Ron, that video is exactly what I'm talking about. I have taken/practiced Kenpo since I was 5 and it's awesome when paired with the weapons you showed. By the grace of God I have not had to use it. I don't carry a weapon but it's nice to know I could disarm someone if it came down to that. There are some very cool techniques you can use to disarm just using the belt off your pants. Those are some cool party tricks.

my instructor teaches Kali, but he is also well schooled in Kenpo. I have learned same techniques that you see in the video. I am not as good as the guy in the video, but I am getting there.

I believe it said he was a 5th degree black belt so few are probably that good. It's a great hobby that could come in very handy if you ever found yourself in a dark alley.
