I was curious on everyone's thoughts of seasoning... I have read numerous threads on it but have went with this route

I put distilled water in the wife's kettle and got it boiling

Put a bowl in each drawer and shelf and put the boiling water in each, closed the door for awhile until it was done steaming.

Did this twice and wiped out the wineador..and let it get back down in humidity

Left distilled water in drawers and shelves over night and woke up to 78* humdity throughout

I took out one bowl of distilled water this morning and will see what I come home to after work

How long do you hold the 75* humdity level to season the cedar to around 65*?
I did the steam trick with my wineador. I did it twice and it was all set. So much faster than room temp water. You may need a bit more because you have more wood in yours but my guess is it may be there already.

I loaded up all the drawers and shelves last night at about 70* last night. With kitty litter on bottom and 1/2 lb of HCM beads in each drawer and 1 on each shelf

This morning it is at 64* at top and 69* at bottom. I'm happy with the way it is sorting out so far. I'm not a stickler for having a rock solid number throughout. As long as I'm within healthy range I'm a happy guy

Heading to Cigarfest in a bit so I'm sure I will have this thing filling up quick

Thanks to all the info on here. I am where I am
