Welcome from sunny Minnesota (y)

I generally get to Chicagoland every couple of months and will get together with the gang whenever I can. Would love to get together with you for a smoke if the opportunity arises!

You would probably also get along splendidly with @JDog by the way. He's a fixture of the Chicago brotherhood but is originally a Philly guy as well.

Welcome from CA. I'm loving the pic. Looks like you have a couple of hobbies that can be expensive
Um, yes. You should see my 1911 collection. Cigars are cheaper, by far.

That was a fun build, though, our most expensive AR build to date. My son is a SGT in the PA National Guard, a junior in college and wanting to go SF, so we do this kind of stuff together as bonding activity. Has a Geissele SSA-E trigger in it, and it is amazing!

Welcome brother! Pats or Ginos tho?!
Hahahaha! Tony Lukes!

They're all good. It's funny how Philly folks treat Philly steak joints like sports teams. And Chicago does the same with pizza. It's all god, I have fairly ecumenical tastes! ;)

I was raised in Chicago, as well as working there, but lived in Philly since getting out of the AF in 1992. So it's kinda nice, I can "win" if the Black Hawks or Phlyers win, the Bears or the Eagles, Phillies, Cubs, or White Sox, 76'ers or the Bulls. It's all good. But, frankly, I'll take Tony Luke's Roast Pork with broccoli rabe and sharp provolone over any Philly cheesesteak, any day!

I changed my avatar. I hate doing that as one becomes recognized by it, but I've only been here a couple weeks, and I think I just replaced my go-to daily smoke--the Hoyo de Monterrey Excalibur--with the Joya Red. So rather than use a brand logo, I went with a cartoon character, Baby Herman! Now I won't change it again.

Cheers,
John

Who is Baby Herman, you ask?
