Just curious to all you other brothers (and sisters) but I've been noticing something:

What is your average smoke time?

Lately because I've been focusing on keeping my smoke cool so I can really identify the flavor a in the cigars I've been smoking. I've been getting in upwards of 2 1/2 even 3 hours sometimes on my cigars. Of course it all depends on the size but this is becoming more and more common for me. Anyone else experience extended smoke times?

Like you I have been trying to slow down my smoke time also. I would say I'm right around 2 hrs, sometimes more sometimes less depending on size and location/conditions.

I'd say average 1 hour 45 minutes. same as you I try tasting more than I used to. I'll also smoke a lot long if I'm watching something or reading. Iv smoked for over 2 hours 30 minutes before for sure on larger sized cigars though. I'd say my fastest smoke times are 50 minutes to an hour, most of these are smaller cigars when I take my dog for his hour walk (much more than an hour and he will over heat) if I'm feeling a smoke I'll take a smaller one and make it quick.

Most of my smoking is on lunch hour, so I try to keep it around 30 mins. But Im down for longer if I have the free time.

bro a HUHC just lasted me 1.5 hour the other day, yet another entity of cigar enjoyment that is 100% subjective, whatever is right to you and you enjoy...

I like a good long smoke as opposed to smoking 'em fast. It all depends on what my schedule is for the day. The busier I am, the more I tend to cram in a stick. In that case, I'll burn something tried and true without a lot of flavor. Also, the more expensive the stick, the more I tend to savor it...

depends. Usually about an hour and a half for a robusto, but I know I'm smoking a little fast. I've taken the same time for a HUHC, and have finished toros faster. A lot of it depends on what I'm doing. It takes me longer to finish a good cigar when I'm hanging out with friends than when I'm by myself.

I always wondered why I couldn't really pick up different flavors in a cigar until I really slowed down how fast I smoked. Now that I take my time I've been able to notice flavors in cigars I never picked up before. Depending on the cigar im usually around the 2 hour mark.
you really hit the nail on the head! Im in the same boat. It makes a huge difference when you slow down.
most of the cigars I smoke are going about 90 min I had many go over the two hr mark. I would of hit 3 hrs on the huge 5 vegas gold I was smoking but I didn't have the time to finish it off! Wish I had more time to smoke!

I always thought of myself as a slow smoker. But with the times you guys are experiancin, I would have to say I am right there with the majority. Had a baitfish last me over an hour the other night.

I smoke in the morning bc nicotine keeps me awake. Anywhere fron 1 half to 1 and a half hours. I find I like shorter sticks and would rather have 2 short robs or short coronas in that 1.5 hrs.
