Real quick. Love the site and the brothers and our sister @ChefBoyRG54. Love the kindness and generosity. I've been blessed with many great smokes. However, my tastes and my nicotine tolerance have changed. I rarely have the time to smoke anything longer than corona or robusto and have fallen in love with the short rob (Quesada Espana, Cabal, etc.). I realize I may never smoke some of the great sticks I've been gifted (Padron, Liga, Mason Dixon, Anchor's Anvil). What should I do. I'd hate to smoke them only a third or a half. Please know how grateful I am, but it's not where I am right now. So, should I re-bomb them, return them, send troops or trade for something I know I will smoke? Of course, selling them is not an option. This has been answered before, but could always use more guidance. Please let me know, esp. if you have bombed me anything similar to stated above. Thank you.

For me, whatever I send is no longer mine but to the person I sent it to and they can do as they wish with it.

I would prefer they not sell them but that's up to them. I have no problem with regifting sticks you won't smoke (especially if they're decent ones.)

Thanks, I'll prollyre-bomb them with a note stating original bomber so he can be recognized for his generosity. Look out kids, it's going to be interesting! Cigarnifun 2015 is about to begin...he he)
Don't think a note is necessary. Don't overthink it. Just send if you want or keep.

cut'em right down the middle and smoke halves.
caveat - ive immediately applied cigar glue to the fresh ends of wrapper lines to prevent unravelaging

Thanks

I'm with @sofc on this one. (although I still think that Ara should be banned)

If I gift a stick to someone I would prefer that they smoke it. However, if they know from experience that it doesn't fit their palate or the size is wrong or have any other valid reason for not smoking it, it's their stick now and they can do with it as they wish.

It was good etiquette for you to ask! (y)

I say, re-bomb or give to friends to smoke. Better that they be enjoyed by someone else than to sit un-smoked in your humi (unless, of course, you do what @XYRNTX suggested and age them).

Ding Ding We have a winner!!!

Duh!!! yes, yes, yes!! Tastes and times change and why not just age them. They are all damn amazing smokes. This is why it's good to think before posting. Momentary brain diarrhea But thanks for convincing me. Nothing to see here folks. Thanks to all and cigars will be aging in my humi. I've got a 50th, birthday coming up and also a 75th and a 100th and will need something special to celebrate!!! Good times, brothers. I'll still do Cigarnifun 2015, only with my sticks. Please ignore me from now on. I like to spread confusion.
Case closed.

Now that I've been on the board awhile I could set my clock to this question. It pops up once a year and I think usually is even under the same thread title.

My belief is that they are a gift and if you give them out I don't really necessarily want to know but I'm not gonna judge you. Don't overthink it and don't worry about notifying the original person. If a brother enjoys it, that is all that matters. Have a great weekend bro!

Again. My color is shame. I did that thing where you have a question and instead of seeing if it was already covered, you take up time and space because you are "just so important everyone needs to answer me personally now"! WIll use it as alearning experience. You guys are great, though. Thanks.
