A buddy of mine asked how much I've spent on gars since I got started in September of 2014. I had no idea. I make all my purchases on one card so I decided that today, I'd download the last nine months of purchases and pick out the cigar spend.

AND.......

Inception to date, I'm at $4500! And I didn't even include the lighters, wineadoor, humidor, cutters etc.

If I do the math, assuming one stick per day over 270 days at $7 average per stick I should be closer to $1900. Where the hell is the remaining $2600 of cigar stock??? I'd estimate I've got about $800 of current inventory. Something is not adding up....

Anyway, thought it would be interesting to hear what others' total spend on cigars has been since day one for newbs and say the past year for the more seasoned brothers.

Sounds like you two should enjoy a smoke to feel better.

I would say upwards of 3k since early 2012. I applaud myself for having that much control.
'without the regret'

i feel fine about it, but will still enjoy a smoke to feel better. 230PM heading to the lounge for work:):):)

Life is too damn short! Enjoy the time you have with a fine cigar and the ones you hold dear...everything else, including how much is spent, is just stuff. My philosophy on money is "I will make more". As long as our mortgage is paid, food is in the freezer, and all three college tuitions are paid up, who gives a rip?
