"The United States and Cuba will announce an agreement on Wednesday to reopen embassies in each other’s capitals, formally restoring diplomatic relations more than a half-century after they were ruptured, according to administration officials."

I am convinced that the President intends to add to his string of recent victories by lifting the embargo sooner rather than later.

Doesn't matter, for a couple years at least, quality will be down the toilet. They'll recover (I hope), but who knows how long that will take. In the meantime, all my dollars from here until the end of the year are going to habanos. Well, theoretically. That was my plan all year, but then the Paniolos hit, and the Las Calaveras, and the Angel's Anvil, and the La Colmena, and then Nick's stuff is coming out, and Saka's stuff, and the La Imperiosos, and... and...

Congress has to end the embargo, so as long as Obama is in the White House the embargo will never end, because Obama.

End, yes. Limit, no. The President could effectively gut the way the embargo works, all by himself.
