The machine does it all. The doc does very little so skill plays very little role in the outcome. If you take all your drops you'll do fine. I went to bed after the procedure and woke up not needing to put on my glasses. It was very cool. I think that most people qualify as good candidates even with a stigmatism.Yea, there are some great doctors in the tri-state that do it. I'm still very nervous about it and not sure if I would be a good candidate.
This must be for you soft contact wearers. There are still some of us who still suffer with having to wear gas-permeable contacts.
I've been starting to think about getting Lasik, but not sure if I can afford it right now since it's likely insurance won't cover it at all. Something to keep watching to see how the prices and technology goes over the next few years.
