Personally, I can speak for Customs Miami location which is really breaking balls the past few months. I've had one package seized (ignored the letter), another box opened, inspected and LET THROUGH by customs inadvertently. My only theory on that is the Partagas box looked like a book from the top where they cut the box and the shipment was cleared. Within a week, a leather cigar case from Canada I ordered was opened/inspected by US Customs and I was forced to pay a $54 fine when it was delivered by UPS if I wanted it. They claim it was over the $100 gift limit and not properly declared. That's three packages in a row coming through Miami port of entry which were examined. Other BOTL in Florida have reported rise in seizures as well.
Finally got popped.

Let me know if you don't mind the outcome of your shipment. I have temporarily stopped ordering at this point to not take chances. I'm sure I am being overly cautious as they process thousands of packages daily, but none the less I am holding off big orders. Thanks
