Amount of time to receive order?

Give it a full 30 days before going back to your vendor. They won't do anything until around that time frame anyway. Not to make you nervous, but I'm missing 2 boxes shipped 6/16 and one box shipped 6/26. I have heard from many others who are missing stuff from the same time frame. I know they are not coming, but still very happy that these are the first 3 boxes snagged in 2015 for me. My luck had to run out eventually to keep up my 4.5 letter a year average.

Assuming my shipment got snagged also. Is it better to write a letter or send and email after 30 days?

Just got my first letter, I assume from the first package. No sign of the reship, but since it shipped 7/1, it would have been entering country on 7/3 or 7/4. I'm kinda holding to the "extra security from the 4th" theory. Hearing others are getting things through right now.

PM me the vendor. If it's who I think it is, a simple email will suffice after 22 business days.

Yeah, I know the feeling. I've only ordered CCs twice. Both times from the same reputable vendor. The first order showed up in about 2 weeks. The second order took 6 weeks, and I am very confident it was not the fault of the vendor. A friend in the UK sent me some sticks and those took 3 weeks. You never can tell, I guess. Here's hoping they don't get pinched. Good luck!

I've only ordered once and I think I got lucky. 7 days total shipping time (plus 2 days processing after order was placed). Shipped 7/6 - Received 7/13. This was a 5 box order shipped in 2 packages, but they came on the same day.

That's been pretty standard for a while now, from the two most popular vendors, with hardly any reports of snags for a while. Most snags towards the end of last year were from another vendor, and were coming through LAX. I had two last fall got snagged, no letters from either.

Really hoping the multiple recent snags were a 4th of July thing, and not a "we figured this vendor out" thing. So far though, all the snags from the last month I've read about various places have been the same vendor.

I had a package with 4 boxes (not inexpensive, this one) shipped on 6/13 go missing. My vendor re-shipped and I received the package in 2 days.

Makes me think that the whole process is like whak-a-mole. Customs figures out the technique that is currently being used by the vendor, and shuts it down. Vendor uses a different method and in several months or a year or two customs figures it out. Process continues...
But for the life of me I don't understand why customs has a hard on for CC's when meth, coke, heroin, pot , etc. are flooding in and out of our borders. Swallow the camel and strain the gnat! ...My rant is now over.

Yeah, my reship from 7/1 I think got snagged.

Same thing. Might get a letter. Ask the vendor for a second reship or a refund, try again later.

I don't think they're looking for Cubans, they're looking for anything. We get letters. Guessing the other shipments that get snagged have more involved, less innocuous processes.

Perhaps the greater scrutiny is a signal that the Feds are preparing for the soon-to-be-lifted Embargo. Just a stupid theory. Don't wanna get everybody worked up!

I'm getting close to 10 working days which I know isn't a long time but it's longer than normal. Last couple have been 5-7 days

I emailed my vendor yesterday and was told to wait the full 22 working days (holidays and weekends don't count) before a reship could be possible. Still waiting here. Been 23 days total including weekends.
