We tried the Knob Creek.

It was good upon initially sipping it but the alcohol flavor ruined that initial goodness for me.

I'll tell you what though...sipping that whiskey sure did make for a VERY relaxing smoke.

I had a huge buzz going halfway through the glass and we only put two shots in to begin with.

I was actually thinking to myself that I would like it more if it were maybe 50 or 60 proof because I liked the flavor of the whiskey but not the alcohol.

:dunno:

Oh, and I am not telling you guys what we are using it for now...you will definitely whoop my ass for it.

Try drinking the whisky with water or club soda, it definitely opens up the flavors.

Oh, and if you deserve it, then a good ass whoopin' is in order. Take it like a man.

I had let four ice cubes melt in there and as they melt it definitely took the edge off but I still didn't like the alcohol flavor.

Nope...never gonna tell.

you know what, it's different for everyone...if you add a little water, it almost makes it a completely different drink. As Greg said the flavors really open up and will really make it nice for a beginner. Us drunks prefer it straight!

it's possible 4 ice cubes isn't enough, and being cold sort of messes it up for me. Try cutting it about 1/3 and see how it goes.
