I don't believe this vendor has any connection to Switzerland at all.Was it from an Asia Pacific based vendor the ships from Switzerland?

Very smart. Over the years I bet you are getting the nicer looking boxes too. I might have to steal you idea (if that's ok?)For the last 15 years my orders have never taken more than 10 days from initial order to having them at my doorstop. I learned early on to cultivate a relationship with a Rep with the Vendor...when I order I told him a long time ago to take 2 cigars from the boxes I order....they are his as a way of thanking him for taking care of me and getting product to me. How does he ship them to me??? That's why I get them in 10 days....its like trying to find the Colonels recipe for fried chicken.
Absolutely...when I first started ordering I had that paranoia of " what if I get caught" doing what I'm doing. I started with talking with Reps. from valued Vendors who already had a top rating and this was through friends and trial and error but I have one guy who we talked for a few months and I started to get a box one month and see how that went. I told him of my fears and how best to get product to me and he mentioned he could send me cigars anyway I wanted to ensure that things went smoothly. Suffice to say the first 3 orders went so smooth I had no fears of anything and told him how much I appreciated his help...so it was then I told him to take 2 cigars from every box ordered and he sent me the cigar bands from his home address and the cigars by a method that even Customs has no clue what is inside..no business address and filled with other products that might be magic markers one order and other paraphernalia on another order and he can be very creative when he sends me product. Some orders he actually puts in CC's that are at least $20 per stick...I love this guy! 15 years later I keep asking him if he'll adopt me...so far...no paperwork for me to sign.Very smart. I trade beer too and it seems that international beer shipments coming in to the west coast are also getting snagged up a lot more often. Sadly, those vendors usually have no guarantees and wont offer refunds either. Kind of a crapshoot.Makes me think that the whole process is like whak-a-mole. Customs figures out the technique that is currently being used by the vendor, and shuts it down. Vendor uses a different method and in several months or a year or two customs figures it out. Process continues...
But for the life of me I don't understand why customs has a hard on for CC's when meth, coke, heroin, pot , etc. are flooding in and out of our borders. Swallow the camel and strain the gnat! ...My rant is now over.
I got my first letter yesterday too, for losses to JFK customs during that period, too.Ordered two boxes from a Swiss vendor on 6/10. By 7/10, I knew something was wrong because I usually receive the package in 4-7 days. They reshipped on 7/13 and I received the boxes 7/21. I just got my first letter yesterday. In the round file it went.
The quantity of drugs being shipped into the US each year are out of this world. Even when they stop huge shipments, there's another one right behind it that doesn't get snagged. So, that being said, I think that is a major reason drugs hit the streets as they do. You know?...But for the life of me I don't understand why customs has a hard on for CC's when meth, coke, heroin, pot , etc. are flooding in and out of our borders. I don't give a crap about the letter. Not receiving my cigars though, now that's a problemThe letter takes 60 plus days to arrive. Now you can stress out about that..........
Haha that's verbatim what my guy said. Prob have the same vendor. Now if only he told me when he would reship lol.I sent my guy an email about my order missing since July 2. I told him I was willing to wait longer but wanted to give him a heads up. I told him he did not need to re-ship or issue a credit just yet unless he had better info suggesting otherwise.
Without hesitating he said "we will re-ship".
FWIW,
