I can tell you one thing Texas doesn't have, it's the original Tommy's. If you have that and in and out and you were wasting water then I'll be mad. No wait, I still wouldn't be mad. If you had real Mexican food and in and out and Tommy's and you were wasting water then I would be mad. Yeah that's what I'm talking about.

Growing up in So Cal, I remember many days at the Original Original Tommy's. The one on Beverly. I took my wife there when we went out to visit the LA area. She didn't understand... THEY NEVER UNDERSTAND!!!

As a side note, she asked for no chili. I should have divorced her right there...

As for Mexican food, no matter how different the Mexican foods are, as long as it's not Yankee Mexican food, it's all good :)

My father-in-law lives one exit away from that 1st Tommy's on Rampart & Beverly. My dad used to take us to that one on the way to Dodger games. It is also the one I took my son to for his first Tommy burger. Ten years after moving to San Diego, we finally got our own Tommy's... thank god.

I agree the Original Tommy's in LA is pretty amazing! Specially after the bars close!
