  • BOTL UPCOMING MAINTENANCE

    Hi Everyone, as mentioned in my introduction post, BOTL needs quite a bit of updating, patching and whatever else I might come across. Over the next few weekends BOTL may be unreachable on occasion as I do migrations or updates, etc. Just be patient - we'll be back! I'll generally try to keep these maintenances until later in the evenings.

The only reason I wouldn't turn this down, if somebody offered me one, is that I wouldn't want to look like an ass. Everybody knows how much I like to smoke a cigar. It sells for $3 each by the box, and it tastes like it. Well, really it doesn't. There was nearly no flavor. If you give it three months in the humidor it might be something, but really, just pop for something better.

It's been a great Friday! Day off of work. I hopped back in the water for the first time in a few months--not much swell, but the marine layer burned off, 85° and sunny. And I still managed to grab a couple decent waves (and handful of wipeouts for good measure).

And now I'm burning this 8-5-8 for Fuente Friday as I watch the live stream of D'Angelo's set from the Outside Lands music festival in SF. Normally I attend the festival in the flesh but, due to the numerous wedding and bachelor parties I've attended/will attend this year, it wasn't in the budget.

Still, a great Friday. I hope y'all can say the same.
