Like the title says, I am looking for comparisons between the flavors and experiences delivered by the Marble Head and the Euro Express. Does the 4rg difference mix it up enough, or are they so damn close that it's hardly worth splitting hairs? Let me know what you think.

IMHO, they're so close it's more about what size you prefer. Marble House is a bit better... IRC, the blend is actually a little different between the two. The Marble House is a buck cheaper a stick, so even though I prefer the larger size, I'd probably opt for the Marble House just on price.

EDIT: But right now Mrs Mall Batch has 20% off, and if you buy the Marble House box of 37, you get a free 20ct box of Avo Heritage lances... that would push me that direction, personally.

All I ask is for opinions on these two vitolas... and that everyone stop referring to my home state as "Cali". I'm easy.

D can be D, all he wants.

Just tried my first Eastern Standard yesterday... pretty blah to me. I was pretty excited for the Caldwell offerings after hearing a lot about them, but after trying Long Live the King and Eastern Standard I can say I am extremely underwhelmed. I threw out the last 2-1/2" or so, I just couldn't justify the time when I have something else I could be smoking. Surely I can't be the only one who finds these to be so mediocre, right?

Eastern Standard is not your typical cigar in the world of in your face flavor bombs that is prevalent in the market right now.

These have a level of finesse where if you aren't paying attention you may think to yourself that you might as well light up a cigarette.

I was not impressed at first but then gave it a second go it wasn't bad. Just not typical to what I normally smoke.
