Another day with another Bull City Cigar Company smoke.

This one is a Brightleaf Corona. However, this one has an unusual twist. It is a CT wrapper instead of Maduro Corojo. It started off with a very present Carolina Brightleaf note. It had a slightly sweet and woody flavor with a cigarette like after taste. It quickly took on the toasty tobacco flavor of the CT wrapper and then some earth came in at about 1/2". The ligero kicked in and it was a strong black pepper that left a hearty sting. I had to take my sunglasses off because the smoke was stinging my eyes. It was an interesting smoke with some good transitions. Like many other CT cigars, it needs quite a nap to let everything come together. This one only had about a week on it after rolling.

That's a damn nice looking wrapper leaf. How do you like it? Getting ready to branch out from the broadleaf I've been using.

I like it. Spicier than broadleaf but sweeter than SA. Pretty easy to work with too.

Last one of the evening. I went inside to grab another cigar and my son decided he should pick for me. He made a good choice!

Still outside at our outdoor fireplace. Wife with me, me smoking a great cigar and drinking some scotch... it just doesn't get much better.

Ok. I waited about 2 weeks, but it was time to break out a Lirio Rojo tonight. And all I can say is WOW! I don't rank cigars, but this is one of the best I've had this year. I got toast, some cherry, a little pepper, and creamy sweetness. Just absolutely outstanding. Well done, @warped.

Decent smoke...first third was very uneventful. The flavor really amped up in the second third and became an enjoyable smoke. Medium body, full flavor with a great burn n draw. Imo, I wouldn't pay the $10 price tag but would definitely revisit it again if I can get it a little cheaper

First one I had ROTT was just meh. This one is a completely different story....has a great woodsy spice and burnt sugar taste. Delicious!
